Home Renovator
The Home Renovator will play a pivotal role in overseeing home construction and renovation projects, managing activities such as planning, organizing, and evaluating project tasks. They will prepare bids, consult with customers, architects, and engineers on plans and specifications, hire and supervise trade subcontractors for specialized work like plumbing, heating, and electrical systems, and coordinate their schedules. Additionally, they will maintain a directory of suppliers and subcontractors, inspect work to ensure quality, and perform hands-on carpentry or other trade work as needed. Candidates should have proven experience in home construction, strong project management skills, and proficiency in carpentry or related trades.
Renovation Helper
The Renovation Helper will assist with a variety of construction tasks, including loading and unloading materials, erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, and barricades, and mixing, pouring, and spreading materials like concrete and asphalt. They will support tradespersons such as carpenters, bricklayers, and roofers in their activities, assist equipment operators, and help align pipes and perform other tasks at construction sites. Candidates should be physically fit, comfortable with labor-intensive work, and have basic knowledge of construction tools and materials.
